Sue Putterman is the owner of Sehmer & Son CPA, LLC. Since opening the firm in 2005, she has practiced in all areas of taxation, including individual, corporate, partnership, and non-profit.  Her areas of concentration include advising closely-held businesses, new business start-ups, and individual tax planning.
           
As an extension to her commitment to her clients, Sue is actively involved in several community and professional organizations. She serves on the board of directors of The Providence Place (www.theprovidenceplace.org) where she is also the organization’s treasurer.  Sue has also served on the Council of St Paul Lutheran Church.

Sue received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin — Madison. Later, she returned to UW to complete accounting coursework and sit for the CPA exam.  She has been a member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Her son, Eric Zirbel, joined the firm in 2015 and recieved his MBA in 2019. He is pursuing his CPA certification.
